Inhabitantes es una nueva colaboración entre los artistas chilenas / británicos Josefa Dobra y Naiomi Natalien, enraizada en Punk-Rock melódico, tejida con intrincadas melodías de acordeón y sintetizador inspiradas en los viajes musicales de ambos artistas tocando con sus bandas Animales Exoticos Desamparados, Parias por Convicción, Flores Marchitas y Manifiesta.

Líricamente, la banda canta desde la tradición de protesta, relacionando las luchas diarias con los temas más amplios de la opresión, el ambientalismo y el movimiento anticapitalista.

Las obras de arte de Anke Steinhoff rinden homenaje a la tradición folclórica 'La Tirana' del norte de Chile, mezclado con las protestas de 2019-20, el panuelo negro en referencia al estallido social, luchando por un amplio cambio social.

Inhabitantes is a new collaboration between Chile/UK artists Josefa Dobra and Naiomi Natalien, rooted in Punk-Rock, woven with intricate accordion and synthesizer melodies inspired by musical travels of both artists performing with their bands Animales Exoticos Desamparados, Parias por Convicción, Flores Marchitas and Manifiesta.

Lyrically the band sing from the protest tradition, relating daily struggles to the broader issues of oppression, environmentalism and the anti-capitalist movement.

Artwork by Anke Steinhoff pays tribute to northern Chile's 'La Tirana' folklore-tradition, paying homage to the recent 2019-20 protests, adding a mask to the 'diablo' motif, in reference to the struggle for social change across Latin America and globally in 2019.
